We asked the Parkinson’s community for their top recommendations for the best apps for people with Parkinson’s.
Their answers ranged from apps that are handy in general, to those tailored specifically for people living with Parkinson’s. For several, AI is an integral tool – and as with all health content, Parkinson’s Europe recommends checking facts and information with your own healthcare team.

PD Buddy

This free app for people with Parkinson’s and caregivers is designed to help build daily routines, track symptoms and medications, and stay on top of exercise, sleep and mood.
Key features include an AI-powered symptoms tracker, a PD Events calendar and a PD Directory, plus group chats, private messaging and Routine Shares (where fellow users share what works best for them).
The app began as a personal project for founder and CEO Beatrice Zatorska, who combined 25 years in tech with lived experience of family life with husband and person with Parkinson’s, Michel. The result is an app that aims to feel personal and practical rather than clinical, with a strong community base. It is currently available in English, with French, German, Spanish and Italian versions to follow in 2026.

Aiming to improve patient-neurologist communication, the i4park app comes from i4life, a spin-off of the University of Oviedo, Spain.
It is designed to generate reports usifexerng data analytics and AI, and help record symptoms, help you visualise your progress, manage medication, remember appointments and more.
Users – people with Parkinson’s or their caregivers – will receive a weekly reminder to complete one of the four questionnaires available, which is shared with their neurologist.

Neptune Care

The Neptune Care app is part of an AI-powered remote monitoring system, and works in sync with Neptune, a physician portal for doctors. Features include passive symptom tracking via the use of a Garmin smartwatch, AI data insights and medication reminders.

Chances are if you aren’t already one of the millions to have downloaded OpenAI’s handy app, you’ll almost certainly have heard of it.
It’s designed to answer questions and provide AI-processed information in a chatty, user-friendly manner. So seamlessly, in fact, many are turning to it in place of well-established search engines like Google for quick queries.

This medication management app has features to cover the whole family – including pets – for a range of conditions including Parkinson’s.
Features include ‘Medfriend’, letting you know when a loved one has missed a dose, and more than 90 different trackers to keep an eye on weight, blood pressure and more.
It can also give warnings of potentially harmful drug interactions, if you are tracking multiple meds from different health care providers.
