Currently, there is inequality with regards to knowledge, understanding and engagement across the Parkinson’s community in Europe.

Parkinson’s Europe will build tools to increase knowledge about Parkinson’s for organisations across Europe, helping them to better support people with Parkinson’s in their country.

By connecting the key stakeholders people with Parkinson’s, patient organisations, healthcare professionals and the treatment industry we will make sure this shared knowledge effects change for the whole Parkinson’s community.

Empowerment goals

1

Build knowledge, understanding and capacity of national associations/groups

2

Connect Parkinson’s patient communities with each other

3

Increase communication and understanding between the Parkinson’s patient community and healthcare professionals

4

Connect the Parkinson’s patient community with the treatment industry, researchers, academia and others
