As an umbrella organisation, Parkinson’s Europe is proud to represent a range of Parkinson’s and Parkinson’s-related organisations across Europe.
We continually benefit from the expertise and experience of our Member Organisations, and are always looking to grow our membership.
Types of membership
There are two different types of membership available:
Membership (Parkinson’s) Organisations
Not-for-profit organisations based in any European country that represent a membership of people with Parkinson’s and carers.
Affiliate Members
Not-for-profit organisations based in any European country who have a special interest in Parkinson’s, with no individual members.
Both these membership categories will have voting rights.

Membership fees
Fees for Parkinson’s Europe Member Organisations
To ensure transparency and fairness, from January 2026 our Member Organisation and Affiliate Member fees are based on the gross income* of each organisation.
This new fee structure was approved by our members at our annual AGM on 19 June 2025.
The below fee levels apply to all Member Organisations and Affiliate Members.
We have three levels of membership fee:
| Level | Gross Annual Income (€) | Minimum Annual Fee (€) | Maximum Annual Fee (€) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Less than €150,000 | €100 | €100 |
| Level 2 | €150,000 to €1,000,000 | €300 | €999.99 |
| Level 3 | More than €1,000,000 | €1,400 | At the discretion of the
Member Organisation |
*based on publicly available or disclosed information provided by Member Organisations and Affiliate Members.
Fee reviews
Our annual membership fees will be reviewed annually as per the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), which is compiled by Eurostat. The next review will be for 2027 fee bandings.
Renewals
Membership runs from January to December. Renewal forms must be returned by December 31st and the deadline for annual fees to be paid is March 31st.
How to join
If you would like to become a member, there is a simple application process:
- Please email [email protected], including your organisation’s registration number and a copy of your organisation’s Statutes (in English). Your application will be reviewed by our Membership Committee and approved by the Parkinson’s Europe Board, and we’ll then send you a confirmation email.
- All successful member applications will then be ratified at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and we will then send you a membership form to fill out.
- Once a completed membership form has been received, you will be sent an invoice for the relevant fees so that you can start to enjoy the benefits of being a Parkinson’s Europe member.
